Earthquake

Spontaneous seismic reaction
When in need of a sheet
And my telluric stride
When throwing hay in the bonfire
That crackles where I can’t see,
That feel like oxygen, the rhyme
And it’s introspective like the moment
I realize the thread
Has no head nor tail
And yet I travel the same systems
Shouting at me
And forcing me
To spit
A cryptic anathema, over and over
To unleash the demon
I find awake in the pillow
And it’s just crazy talk
And semantic earthquakes,
Bare songs
Of hermetic agony
I’m used to draw from
When the last sun set
And you do understand
And you do already know.
