Stroll
Only a few steps
As I clench my shoulders
In the pleasure of a chin-lift,
Knowing it’s just a few steps.
Sleepy faces,
Same colors,
Maybe around the town square
To forget the aches.
Like a dog, I wander,
My self-confidence on display,
Random walks
I don’t deserve to show.
A few steps
To come back
For I don’t miss sleeping
But only knowing I could.
