Wounds (I)
Remind me the reason
For the screams
I’m stunned by,
I’m brought to the ground with
Hollow and anxious,
Exhausted
Like a dusty path
After the deer stampede
For I can provide no answers
To the questions you didn’t asked
But just scabs
O’er the wounds they caused,
Blind snipers
Mistakenly called to arms.
In the nothingness’ plight
I lie, I yawn and bow,
Dreaming for a dreamless sleep.
